Home, part one: the garden

IMG_6825

Our garden has a cool front yard, where I love to play ball, and check out the road. I am very good at guarding my folks, and keep all suspicious dogs on their toes

This is where I see them coming, and can get prepared and…

…pursue them all along the fence…  Veronica does not  share my  “keeping guard method”, she hates me barking. Does she not understand what’s at stake here? But NO it is; “two barks is enough”, “those are nice dogs”, “no need to fuss”… she doesn’t get it AT ALL

We have a pool, I don’t like swimming (they  tried in hot weather, but NO WAY) I don’t understand why there is no fish, or cool frogs and I keep hoping to see some. I check every day. I do chase big pigeons though, such fun, very silly birds.

This is the short cut to neighbours garden, I am not allowed to use it anymore!

There was an incident last week, I supposedly broke a blue flower, it was totally an accident. Veronica got terribly upset, and went on and on and on about the flower AND the plants and me …

I tried to explain that I need to, VERY QUICKLY, go and check out new guy next door. She did not seem very impressed. Now she put this barrier up. What is the point of a cool garden if I cannot use it??

Limping episode

IMG_6726.jpg

Indya left and things became rather dull around here. Veronica discovered I was limping, honestly only a tiny little limp. She went crazy and started talking to Dennis about “going to the vet”, “might need surgery”. Frankly I did not understand what the fuss was all about and what is “surgery”? I was not  even allowed to run.. pfffff

IMG_6792.jpg

Got dragged to said Vet. I have to admit I like coming, I get all sorts of cool candy and lots of special attention.  Turned out to be NOTHING, made her look rather silly, getting all worked up. Downturn is I now have to be on a leash, they all want to play it safe.

Next day we went on this cool walk,  saw lots of guys hitting small balls and running. Wished I could join them and chase both yellow balls and guys. Hopefully she will let me run again soon,  I AM NOT LIMPING.

Indya, My BFF

IMG_6787

This is my BFF/cousin Indya, we’re the same age. She often comes over for playdates and sleepovers when her folks are travelling or at work.

I love her…nearly all the time.

IMG_4848

I have been told to be super nice with her since she’s away from her home and not to be jealous, I AM NOT!

I just think she gets too much attention; and all the favours, like eat first, get the good toys, climb on Dennis’s lap.

IMG_6791

Sometimes “Being nice” is very difficult and then I get a time out.. how unfair is that?!

IMG_6674

Most of the time we have great fun, we play tug of war, though Indya always ends up with the toy, I don’t understand how this is, I think she does magic.

IMG_6719

We love to keep guard and bark at all the bypassing dogs, like the “full of himself Jack Russel” down the road, showing off just because he is on the other side of the fence.

As you know this is not a “Veronica approved” activity. “Stop annoying that sweet little Jack Russel”. Sweet? My foot!!

At night we sleep together. I have my huge Cloud7 bed, very cool and comfy, so I don’t mind sharing.

IMG_6700

India totally agrees with me when it comes to being left home alone, why can’t we go shopping with Dennis and Veronica?

No it is: “you have to stay”, “be good girls now”, “this is not fun for you”, PLEASE what do they know, stores are cool.

Indya stayed with us last week, but she had to go home, VH and MC were back from their trip.

I felt  very sad,  frankly it is a bit boring without her, but also a little happy  since I can be queen of everything again, and the star.

Do I deserve a blog?

Today Veronica decided to write a blog about me. My name is Felicia von der Andreashöhe and apparently I was named after a Swedish song,  “Felicia adjö”.

I am a Boxer Girl born in 2013. Dr L says I’m not very tall but have large muscles. I think I’m cute.

I live with Veronica and Dennis in a big house with a cool garden.

This blog is about my days, my life and my many adventures.
